O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 04.03.2022 given by the petitioner to transfer the patta in the name of petitioner and his sister with respect to property situated in Survey No.336/1A(2D) at Sevoor Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District in Patta No.561.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the property measuring about 2400 Sp.ft. situated in survey No.336/1A at Sevoor Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District, is acquired by way of inheritance. Patta stands in the name of petitioner's grandfather and the same was not transferred in the name of petitioner. On 04.03.2022, a representation has been made by the petitioner for the transfer of patta before the 2nd respondent. Since the same was not considered by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's 2/4
representation dated 04.03.2022 and pass orders on merits within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has no objection for said order being passed.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
6. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above observations and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
