ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.04.2025, wherein the petitioner has sought for handing over the title documents of the property within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Ms.R.Kanishaa learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Bank.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the title documents were entrusted as collateral security for a loan. The loan amount was fully settled and even thereafter, the title documents are being withheld by the respondents. Therefore, she made a representation to the Branch Head to hand over the title documents. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has 2/4

been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the Branch Head, Canara Bank (formerly Syndicate Bank), Royapettah Branch to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 02.04.2025 and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall be given an opportunity to explain and to clarify any queries raised by the Bank.
