The appeal has been filed seeking to quash the order in EC.No.152/2015 dated 06.07.2020 on the file of the Commissioner for Workmen Compensation, Conoor and the award amount of Rs.3,19,880/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Nineteen Thousand and eight hundred and eighty only) in EC. No.152/2015 and thereby allow the civil miscellaneous appeal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the entire award amount along with interest has been deposited before the tribunal into the credit in EC.No.152/2015. To that effect, the appellant has filed memo before this Court. Hence, this Court may close the present appeal as there is no adjudication required further.

3. The learned counsel for the claimants submitted that this court may permit the claimants to withdraw the compensation along with interest.

4. Considering the fact that since the entire compensation along with interest has been deposited, the appeal is closed. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The Tribunal is directed to transfer the amount to the bank account of the claimants through RTGS within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The memo dated 06.11.2024 shall form part of this order.
