PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police to file a final report within a time to be fixed by this Court in Crime No.499 of 2018 pending investigation before the respondent police according to law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to investigate the Crime No.499 of 2018 and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent Police.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent Police has registered a case in the above said crime number on 27.10.2018, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent Police shall file a final report within a period of one month. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
