Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai to dispose of the case in Spl.SC.No.69 of 2024 in crime No.03 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, W-27, AWPS, Vadapalani, Chennai under Section 9(n)(I) r/w 10, 11(i), r/w 12,17,21 of Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 75 of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame as stipulated by this Court by allowing the present petition.

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai to dispose of the case in Spl.SC.No.69 of 2024 in crime No.03 of 2023 on the file of the Inspector of Police, W-27, AWPS, Vadapalani, Chennai under Section 9(n)(I) r/w 10, 11(i), r/w 12,17,21 of Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and 323, 506(i) of IPC and Section 75 of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame as stipulated by this Court by allowing the present petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The petitioner had filed a complaint before the first respondent police, on which FIR was registered in crime No.3 of 2023. Thereafter, final report was filed before the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial
of Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai in Spl.SC.No.69 of 2024. Since the same has not been considered by the said Court, the petitioner filed this petition.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Chennai, is directed to complete the Trial in Spl.SC.No.69 of 2024, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
