This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.21 of 2012 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Poonamalee.

2. The first respondent/complainant being the President of Masjid E Mubarak Mosque, Avadi, has lodged a private complaint, under Section 68 of the Tamil Nadu Wakf Act, 1995, as against the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 18 in M.C.No.21 of 2012 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Poonamalee.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the new committee was formed in the above said Wakf, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, nothing survives for consideration in this petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
