ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners in the post of Junior Engineer/ Electrical -II Grade under the internal selection by fixing the seniority together with monetary benefits as per the internal recruitment in terms of the fresh panel drawn on 19.09.2020 vide Letter No.54993/574/G3/G31/2020-2 dated 19.09.2020 of the second respondent herein and pass orders.
2. No representation for the petitioners. Heard Mr.K.Rajkumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted Page No.2 of 5
that the petitioners have already been promoted to the post of Junior Engineer Grade - II in the year 2019 and Junior Engineer Grade - I in the year 2021. Hence, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition.
4. The submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents is recorded. However taking into consideration of the nonappearance of the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
