ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report before the competent court of law in Crime No.149 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.149 of 2021 on 20.02.2021, no final report is filed till date.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is in progress and respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4

order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
