ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who were arrested on 08.07.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 420 IPC r/w, 66(d) of Information Technology Act 2000, in Crime Nos.18 &19 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners initially provided a gift coupon for Rs.1/- and sold household articles to the said coupon and they subsequently contact the same customer and ask them to deposit money in the account on the pretext of providing costly articles and believing the words the deceived customer would deposit amount of Rs19,500/- at first and further he deposited amount of Rs.18,800/- as demanded by the accused and having received the amount, the accused will not provide any articles as promised to the customer and cheated the defacto complainant. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are no way connected with the alleged offence and they have been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioners have been in jail from 08.07.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioners.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is at initial stage and the custodial interrogation is very much required. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioners have involved in very serious offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
