Respondents in both the W.Ps Petitions filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the second and third respondents herein not to initiate any coercive action from demolishing the residential building and shops of the petitioners comprised in Survey No.209/3, bearing Door Nos.4/647 and 4/655, Old Mahabalipuram Road, Mootaikaran Chavadi, Okkiyam Thuraipakkam, Chennai - 96, Kancheepuram District till the disposal of the petitioners' appeal petitions dated 26.10.2015 and 23.10.2015 respectively pending with the first respondent herein.

With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petitions are taken up for final disposal. 2.The instant writ petitions are filed, seeking a direction to respondents 2 and 3 not to initiate any coercive action till the disposal of the petitioners' appeals preferred before the District Collector and in the meantime, status quo be maintained.

3.We are informed that the appeals preferred by the petitioners were disposed of by the District Collector, Kancheepuram vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.8441/2006/N1 dated 07 January 2016. Thus nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.

4.The writ petitions have become infructuous and the same shall stand dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
