This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file a report pertaining to the detention of the detenu by name Lata Khatun and in pursuance thereof, direct the IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai to dispose of the Crl.M.P.No. in Crime No.192 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first to third respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to verify the status of the detenu and after obtaining a report from the Probation Officer, release the detenu forthwith.
