The petitioner is the widow of Thiru Sampath, who worked as Conductor in Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation. The husband of the petitioner died in a road accident on 4.4.2013. The first respondent sanctioned the statutory benefits to the petitioner. The petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment on 28.10.2014, requesting the first respondent to provide appointment to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

her son by name S.Vinothkumar. Since the said representation was not considered by the respondents, the petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for Transport Corporation on behalf of the respondents.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.10.2014 on merits and in accordance with the relevant Regulations regarding compassionate appointment. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
