The Civil Miscellaneous Second Appeal in CMA.No.16/2014 was filed under Section 13(1)(ia) and 13(i)(ib) of Hindu Marriage Act read with Section 100 of CPC. against the fair and decreetal order in CMA.No.31/2012 dated 31.10.2013 on the file of the 1st Additional District Judge, Cuddalore, confirming the fair and decreetal order in HMOP.No.47/2008 dated 11.1.2012 on the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge, Cuddalore. 3.

When the appeals were taken up today, the learned Counsel for the appellant fairly submitted that the respondent husband has come forward to pay a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- as full and final settlement towards alimony and the appellant wife is prepared to accept the same.

The appellant wife who is also present in Court agreed to the same and a Demand Draft for Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only) towards permanent alimony drawn on Kotak Mahindra Bank, Villupuram dated 26.06.2019 was handed over to her and she has also received the same before the Court. Accordingly, both judgments and decrees passed by the learned trial court and the Appellate Court are hereby confirmed. 5.

Recording the same, both the Civil Miscellaneous Second Appeals are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
