ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed in W.P.No.15757 of 2020 dated 08.11.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondent submitted that challenging the order passed by this Court, a Writ Appeal has been filed in W.A.No.2671 of 2024 and the same was closed on 04.09.2024, by making the following observations:

"2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner / 1st respondent herein that the request of the Writ Petitioner in respect of regularization of her services, has been rejected by the District Collector, Tiruvannamalai vide G.O.No.1726411/2024/gÏ1 dated 02.08.2024 and she has also produced a copy of the said Government Order before this Court. She has further represented that against the order dated 02.08.2024, the Writ Petitioner has filed yet another Page No.2 of 4

Writ Petition in W.P.No.25199 of 2024, which is pending before the Writ Court for adjudication.

3.In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner / 1st respondent herein, the instant Writ Appeal is closed, with liberty to the 1st respondent to pursue her remedy before the Writ Court in the pending Writ Petition. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed."

3. As the petitioner has already challenged the order passed by the respondent in complying the earlier order passed in the above Writ Petition, the petitioner can seek the remedy before the Writ Court where W.P.No.25199 of 2024 is pending.

4. In view of the above stated reasons, this Contempt Petition is closed.
