O R D E R

Pursuant to the Sale Deed said to have been executed on 15.05.1985, the petitioner made a request to the respondent no.1 for issuance of patta by enclosing the property tax receipt. Seeking disposal of the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.It appears that the petitioner has given a representation only to the respondent no.1, though the prayer has been sought for from the respondent no.2. The respondent no.2 is the competent authority and hence the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondent no.2 seeking patta for the land in Survey No.202, Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Thiruvallur District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when such a representation is received, the respondent no.2 shall pass appropriate orders within a further period of eight weeks, after hearing the petitioner as well as 3rd party, if so required. No costs.
