ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is required to appear before the Deputy Commissioner, Triplicane, who is also an Executive Magistrate, in connection with the proceedings initiated by the Executive Magistrate under Section 110 of Cr.P.C. When the respondent police wanted to serve summons on the petitioner for appearance before the Deputy Commissioner/Executive Magistrate, the petitioner has rushed to this court with this petition thinking that he is being harassed.

4. The submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. This Criminal Original Petition is closed with direction to the petitioner to participate in the Section 110 enquiry conducted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
