By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner joined as Cook in Dharmanallur AdiDravidar Welfare Higher Secondary School at Thittakudi on 08.11.1991 and vide order of the 2nd respondent dated 19.05.2015, he was transferred to Chidambaram Govt. Nandanar Girls Higher Secondary School and within a short span of time, he was transferred from that place and posted in the office of Assistant Director of Education, Cuddalore and once again, he was transferred as Office Assistant to Government Nandanar Girls Higher Secondary School, Chidambaram on 10.09.2015. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that within a short span of time, he was transferred thrice and in this regard, he was also submitted representation to the 2nd respondent on 17.10.2015 praying for his continuation of the present place of post and since, no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has invited the attention of this Court to the last transfer order dated 10.09.2015, in which it has been indicated that the said order would come into effect immediately and the petitioner cannot avail leave and he cannot submit any representation as against the said order of transfer and since he has subjected to frequent transfer within a short span of time, he has constrained to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.

4. Heard the submission of Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and till then, maintain status quo as exists today.
