(made by M.SUNDAR, J.) Captioned main 'writ petition' [hereinafter 'WP' for the sake of brevity] was disposed of by an order dated 23.08.2024 but it was directed to be listed under the caption 'FOR REPORTING COMPLIANCE AND FOR REPORT' by way of a P.S. (post script).

2. After multiple listings of the captioned WP, proceedings dated 07.04.2025 came to be made and the same reads as under : W.P.No.22513 of 2023 and W.M.P.No.21954 of 2023 M. SUNDAR, J.

and R.N. MANJULA, J.

learned counsel on record for writ petitioner, Mr. T.K. Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1, Ms. P. Veena Suresh, learned Standing Counsel for R2, Mr. D.B.R. Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel for RR 3 and 4 and Mr. Najeeb Usman Khan, learned counsel for R5 (private respondent) are present in Court.

2. Adverting to earlier proceedings, Ms. Devi, learned counsel representing Mr. S. Thiruvengadam, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner, submits that the order has been fully complied. Saying so, learned counsel has made an endorsement in the case file and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows:

3. Recording the stated position of the learned counsel representing the learned counsel on record for writ petitioner, captioned writ petition is given a complete closure by directing Registry not to list this matter any further.

Mr.S.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner/WMP petitioner, Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader for first respondent, Ms.S.Roshini, learned counsel representing Ms.P.Veena Suresh, learned Standing Counsel for second respondent, Mr.D.B.R.Prabhu, learned Standing Counsel for third and fourth respondents and Mr.Najeeb Usman Khan, learned counsel for fifth respondent, are before us.

4. As regards 07.04.2025 proceedings (extracted and reproduced supra), Ms.Devi.N. (Enrolment No.1252 of 1999), who made the endorsement is before us and she is represented by learned counsel Mr.Paul Kanagaraj. Ms.Devi.N. expresses regret and tenders an apology for the endorsement and learned counsel submits that the endorsement was made owing to some lapse in communication between her and another colleague counsel, though Mr.S.Thiruvengadam, learned counsel has not given any instructions to make endorsement. The apology is accepted.

5. The above means that aforereferred 07.04.2025 proceedings, now stand effaced.

Reverting to the prayer in the captioned WMP, it is not necessary to accede to the prayer to re-open the writ petition as the writ petition has been disposed of by an order dated 23.08.2024 and the matter is being kept only for compliance. Therefore, though we do not accede to the prayer to re-open the writ petition in the light of 07.04.2025 proceedings being effaced, we direct the Registry to list the captioned WP under the same caption 'FOR REPORTING COMPLIANCE AND REPORT' in the next listing.

7. Though obvious, for the sake of specificity, we clarify that except 07.04.2025 proceedings standing effaced, all other proceedings including 23.08.2024 order and post 23.08.2024 proceedings will continue to be on record.

8. Captioned WMP is disposed of in the aforesaid manner. There shall be no order as to costs.
