PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's brother-in-law, P.Jothi @ Krishnamoorthy, life convict No.14807, now confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore, before this Court pursuant to her representation dated 12.12.2013 and direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner's brother-in-law from Central Prison, Cuddalore to Central Prison, Coimbatore.

Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the report of the Probation Officer dated 27.04.2024, and stated that the life convict prisoner viz., P.Jothi @ Krishnamoorthy, has already been released prematurely as per G.O.No;/1100-cs;(rpiw?4) Jiw.

dated 21.08.2018, and hence, the prayer sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition become infructuous. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
