Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from conducting the "Deeksha Velvi" ceremony on 29.07.2017 in the Saivamudal Thiruthondar Embiran Sundaramoorthy Swamigal Madalayam (Thirukovil) contrary to Agamic Scriptures.
3.Heard Mr.V.Raghavachari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that in respect of the issue involved in the present Writ Petition, the 1st respondent had called for an enquiry and the same is scheduled to be held today (i.e.) 28.07.2017 at 02.00 pm for deciding the issues involved in the present Writ Petition.
5.The learned counsel on either side submitted that in view of the enquiry to be held today at 02.00 pm, the same may be recorded and the Writ Petition may be closed. 6.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is closed. It is needless to say that the 1st respondent shall decide the matter following the Agamic Scriptures. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
