This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 582 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Though notice has been served on the 2nd respondent and their name is printed in the cause list, none appears on their behalf.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and consequently, the delay of 582 days in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the claimant/petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 582 days, in the appeal.
