Order This Civil Revision Petition is filed by the plaintiff seeking a direction for speedy disposal of the suit in OS.No.1996 of 2023.
2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner/plaintiff submitted that the suit, which was instituted in the year 2023 in respect of a dispute relating to car parking rights, has not progressed substantially. It is further submitted that despite filing of pleadings, the matter has been adjourned on several occasions without effective adjudication.
3. This Court has perused the records, including the e-Court status. It is seen that issues were framed on 19.04.2024 and thereafter the matter has not been disposed of. Considering the nature of the dispute and the fact that the suit is pending from the year 2023, this Court is inclined to issue a direction for expeditious disposal. Accordingly, (i) the learned Trial Judge is directed to dispose of the suit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording sufficient opportunity to both parties.
(ii) The parties are directed to extend their full cooperation for early disposal of the suit and shall not seek unnecessary adjournments.
4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
