This petition has been filed to modify the condition that the petitioners shall report before the respondent police vide order dated 04.05.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.10012 of 2023.

2. It is stated by the petitioners that the 3rd petitioner herein is Headmistress working at Udumalaipettai, the 5th petitioner herein is working in Tata Consultancy Service IT company at Chennai, the 6th petitioner herein is working IT company at Bangalore, the 8th petitioner herein is pursuing M.S. House Surgeon in Karpagam Medical College at Coimbatore and the 9th petitioner herein is pursuing MBBS final year in Karpagam Medical College at Coimbatore. Therefore, they find it very difficult to comply with the condition to report before the respondentpolice daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks. The learned counsel further submitted that petitioners 1 and 2 are house wifes and hence, modification may be considered in respect of them also.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks modification of the condition on the ground that the petitioners 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 are working elsewhere and hence, they are not in a position to report before the respondent-police daily.

Having regard to the reasons assigned in this petition, the condition imposed by this Court by order dated 04.05.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.10012 of 2023 is modified, the petitioners 1, 2, 4 and 7 are directed to appear before the respondent-police every Saturday at 5.30 p.m., for a period of four weeks and the petitioners 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 are directed to appear before the respondent-police as and when required.

5. The Registry is directed to issue fresh order copy to the parties.

6. The petitioners are granted two weeks time from today to surrender and execute the sureties as ordered by this Court. 26.06.2023 dm Note: Issue order copy on 27.06.2023.
