The Government Of Tamil Nadu v. P.Lingappan
in WP.No.8199 of 2009 M.SUNDAR., J Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of separate proceedings made in captioned main writ petition, which reads as follows: 'Mr.A.Amal Raj, learned counsel on record for the sole writ petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned State Counsel for all the four respondents are before this virtual Court.
2. Learned counsel for writ petitioner is ready to argue the matter, but learned State counsel requests for a short accommodation saying he needs to get further instructions regarding the obtaining position. To be noted, State counsel has filed a counter affidavit and the same is before this Court as part of the case file. This means that the pleadings are complete. This also means that the writ petition can be taken up for final hearing in the next listing.
3.Adjourned at the request of learned State counsel and Registry to list this matter under the same cause list caption FINAL HEARING CASES on 31.08.2021.'
2.The above would bring to light that a date has been fixed for hearing the main writ petition for final hearing. Therefore, captioned WMP, which has been filed with a prayer for fixing an early date has worked itself out as 1/3
the purpose has been served.
3. Captioned WMP is disposed of as closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
