O R D E R

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 03.07.2017 within a stipulated time.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.07.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.

4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law within a time frame.

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 03.07.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
