This petition is filed to dispense with the production of the certified copy of the award dated 07.03.2019 made in M.C.O.P.No.109 of 2018 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, II Additional District Court, Puducherry.

2.The learned counsel appearing for petitioners submitted that due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioners could not approach the Tribunal for obtaining the copy of the award and file before this Court. He further submitted that the petitioners have filed copy application only on 29.07.2022 for obtaining the copy of the award dated 07.03.2019 made in M.C.O.P.No.109 of 2018.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.

4.The reasons given by the petitioners is not valid and acceptable.

The petitioners have not given any reason for not filing the copy application from 2019 till March 2020 for obtaining the copy of the award.

5.In view of the above, C.M.P.No.5135 of 2022 stands dismissed.
