ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 06.02.2026 in Crl.O.P.No.2827 of 2026 that "Para 7(b) the petitioner shall report before the respondent Police daily at 10.30.a.m.,

for a period of three weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a widow and sole breadwinner of her family supporting her aged mother. Since the petitioner is now residing at Chennai and taking care of the entire family, she is unable to travel from Chennai to Krishnagiri to report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three weeks. Hence, she prayed to modify the same.

3.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has not even complied with the condition imposed on her for a single day.

4. Considering the submissions made on either sides, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is dismissed. 07-05-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VKR/GSA
