Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to correct the patta entries in patta No.114, Keelnathur Village, Tiruvannamalai District and issue the correct patta to the petitioner and pass orders regarding the rightful compensation amount payable to the petitioner. ORDER

The petitioner seeks for correction of patta entries in the patta No.114 for the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, through this Writ Petition.

2. As seen from the documents filed along with this Writ Petition, proceedings have already been initiated by the second respondent based on the petitioner's representation.

3. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

4. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law on the second respondent's proceedings, dated 21.04.2025 based on the petitioner's representation seeking for correction of patta entries in the patta No.114 for the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
