PRAYER: This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records of the second respondent dated 21.06.2016 in ID.No.519 of 2010 and quash the award (amounting Rs.2 lakhs to the first respondent as if he is the worker under the petitioner).

Pending the writ petition, both the Management and the first respondent have settled the dispute amicably among themselves and the terms of the settlement is produced before this Court by way of joint memo of compromise, dated 08.01.2022. As per the terms of the settlement, the first respondent has agreed to receive a sum of Rs.1,40,000/- as against the award amount of Rs.2,00,000/- passed in I.D.No.519 of 2010. The amount has also been settled by way of cheques to the first respondent.
