ORDER

This petition was already dismissed by this Court on 12.06.2025 with direction to the Registry to list this case today (30.06.2025) in the caption "for 1 / 4

reporting compliance". Accordingly, this matter is listed today under the said caption.

2. On 12.06.2025, the respondents-Police were directed by this Court to file the final report/charge-sheet as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from 12.06.2025 and to file a compliance report before this Court. After filing of the final report/charge-sheet, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

3. Now, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents had conducted the investigation and completed the same and filed a negative report by closing the case as "mistake of fact" before the Judicial Magistrate No.5, Vellore.

4. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the Judicial Magistrate No.5, Vellore, in the manner known to law. This petition is accordingly closed.
