This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to pass orders based on the 2nd respondents proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A4/1544/2012 dated 14.3.2012 pertaining to the petitioners representation dated 2.3.2012 within a stipulated time frame.

Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had submitted that, in spite of the proceedings issued by the second respondent, dated 14.3.2012, directing the fourth respondent to cause an enquiry and to pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioner, in respect of the property in survey No.383/5 Paruthipattur village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District, no orders had been passed by the fourth respondent, till date. He had further submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to cause an enquiry and to pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioner, in respect of the property in survey No.383/5 Paruthipattur village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District, within a specified time, as directed by the second respondent, by his proceedings, dated 14.3.2012, in Na.Ka.A4/1544/2012.
3. The learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents have no objection for this court passing such an order.

In such circumstances, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner made in respect of the property in survey No.383/5 Paruthipattur village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District, and to pass appropriate orders thereon, pursuant to the proceedings issued by the second respondent, dated 14.3.2012, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and the fifth respondents and the other persons concerned, if any, within a period
of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall furnish a copy of the representation and the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 14.3.2012, to the fourth respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
