This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in crime No.72 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vellore Taluk Police Station, Vellore District.

The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that after completing the investigation in crime No.72 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Vellore and the same is yet to be taken on file.

In view of the above submission, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the Judicial Magistrate-I, Vellore is directed to take cognizance of the final report filed by the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
