ORDER
Mr. U. Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal today at the stage of admission itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to register the Judgment and Decree dated 06.07.1993 passed in O.S. 3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject properties situated at Swamiraj Kandigai and originally belonged to his great-grandfather, late Chengamaraju. Upon his demise, disputes arose among the legal heirs with regard to partition. The petitioner's mother, late Venkatamma, instituted a suit in O.S. No.86 of 1983 before the Sub Court, Kancheepuram, and by Judgment and Decree dated 06.07.1993, the properties were partitioned. As per the said decree, the properties comprised in Survey Nos.110/2 and 110/7 (forming part 2/5
of Schedule 'A' and 'C') were allotted to the petitioner's mother.
4. It is the further case of the petitioner that, despite the said decree, patta in respect of the above survey numbers came to be issued in favour of one Sundaraju, who is now attempting to alienate the property to third parties by suppressing the civil court decree. In order to safeguard his title and prevent illegal alienation, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents seeking to register the Judgment and Decree in the relevant records viz., Book No.1. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

He further submitted that non-consideration of the petitioner's representation would enable third parties to deal with the property contrary to the decree, thereby causing serious prejudice to the petitioner. Therefore, he prayed that this Court may issue suitable directions to the respondnets to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2026.
