Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the respondents to survey the boundaries of the land comprised in S.No.318/1 to the extent of 2 acre and 9 cents, situated at Pazhamathur Village, Maduranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, based on the application of the first petitioner dated 22.05.2017.

4. The grievance of the petitioners before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the first petitioner dated 22.05.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
