PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records pertaining to the criminal proceedings bearing M.P.No.9679 of 2014 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, Chennai and quash the same.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings initiated by the respondent against the petitioner under the Domestic Violence Act.

2. The respondent has made various allegations against the petitioner and the same can be gone into only before the Court below and it requires appreciation of evidence. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings at this stage.

3. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the Court below is directed to complete the proceedings in Crl.M.P.No.9679 of 2014 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already concluded. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
