For Petitioner :: Mr.S.Kumaradevan For Respondents:: Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan Special Government Pleader for R1 & 2 Mrs.Saraswathi Shivaraman Iyer Government Advocate for R3
ORDER
This writ petition has been filed without any reason for issuance of a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 6.11.2017 for the post of Noon Meal Organizer in Noon Meal Centre at Konga
Vembu Panchayat Union Middle School based on the interview held on 20.07.2017.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that when the first respondent issued a notification in Na.Ka.No.1521/2016/X1 on 20.2.2017 inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Noon Meal Organizer in the Harur Panchayat Union schools, the petitioner, having passed 10th Standard (SSLC) and registered the said qualification with the District Employment office, Dharmapuri on 15.7.2004 with the periodic renewal, applied for the same and attended the interview before the third respondent on 30.7.2017 for the post of Noon Meal Organizer. It is also stated that she got the first mark. However, she was not selected for the reasons known to the respondents. Even in the interview, the third respondent informed that since the petitioner stood at No.1 position, she would be considered for selection to the said post.
However, in the meanwhile, without issuing any appointment order, the third respondent is going to appoint the fourth respondent. According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent is an ineligible candidate, since she is working as a part-time teacher under the SSA scheme, namely, Karkum Bharatham at Koothadipatti and her husband is also a government servant working in the TANGEDCO. Therefore, he pleaded that the representation of the petitioner may be considered.
3. I do not know how the writ petition can be filed only on mere surmises and assumptions. The petitioner has come to this Court without any semblance of proof that the third respondent is going to make the appointment in favour of the fourth respondent. Therefore, on this score, the prayer is refused and the writ petition stands dismissed.
Consequently, W.M.P.No.32021 of 2017 is also dismissed. No costs. Sd/- Asst.Registrar (CS III ) /true copy/ Sub Asst. Registrar ss To
