Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry under the provisions of "The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007" for cancellation of Settlement Deeds registered as Document Nos.15044/2016 and 15045/2016 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Hosur, executed in favour of the Respondents 3 and 4 on the basis of the Petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2018.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of his representation dated 23.07.2018.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 23.07.2018 to conduct an enquiry under the provisions of "The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007" for cancellation of Settlement Deeds registered as Document Nos.15044/2016 and 15045/2016 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Hosur, executed in favour of the Respondents 3 and 4, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the 2nd respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.V.Sakkarapani, learned counsel appearing for the Respondents 3 and 4.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner, respondents 3 and 4 and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
