The petitioners have come up with the present writ petitions seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to temporarily
promote the petitioners to the post of B.T.Assistant (Mathemathics) as per Rule 39 of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules in the second respondent Panchayat Union.
2. Though the prayer in these writ petitions are to direct the respondents to temporarily promote the petitioners to the post of B.T.Assistant (Mathemathics) as per Rule 39 of the Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners today, submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if their representations dated 07.05.2010 (petitioner in W.P.No.12200/10) and 30.4.2010 (Petitioner in W.P.No.12201/10) is considered and decided in accordance with law.
3. Heard Mr. P.Ganesan, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents.
4. In view of the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 07.05.2010 and 30.4.2010 on merits and in accordance with law and pass suitable orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy
of this order.
5. Writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Index:
