Crl.M.P.No.5592 of 2017 in Crl.A.No.230 of 2017 NOOTY.RAMAMOHANA RAO,J AND S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J Order of the Court was made by NOOTY.RAMAMOHANA RAO,J The petitioner - second accused was found guilty of committing the offences under Sections 302 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code after a full fledged trial and she has been sentenced to undergo life imprisonment with a fine of Rs.1,000/- for the offence under Section 302 and to undergo ten years rigorous imprisonment for the offence under Section 397 of the Indian Penal Code. Further, both the sentences were ordered to run concurrently.

Challenging the conviction and sentence imposed by the Trial Court, the petitioner has come forward with the appeal.

2. Pending appeal, the petitioner has filed the above petition, seeking suspension of sentence.

3. Heard both.

4. For the conduct held established after a full fledged trial by the prosecution and also considering the serious nature of the offence, we see no justifiable reason to take any sympathetic view in the matter.

5. Accordingly, the above petition stands dismissed.
