Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the pending Review Petition filed under Section 80-A by the 8th respondent dated 13.02.2023, within a timeframe as fixed by this Hon'ble High Court and further direct the 6th respondent to disconnect the power supply to the building at Door No.1/473, Periya Colony, Manapakkam, Chennai 600 125, comprised in Survey No.589/18, 589/20 of Manapakkam Village, Alandur Taluk, Chennai District, until the building is approved to be in strict compliance as per the approved building plan. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR,J.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent report before this Court that the first respondent has passed orders on the revision petition stated to have been filed by the contesting private respondent under Section 80-A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act.
2. Since the statutory revision under Section 80-A has been disposed of by order dated 24.08.2023, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, W.M.P.No.16609 of 2024 is also dismissed. No costs.
