ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash all proceedings in S.T.C.No.453 of 2012, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam.

The 1st petitioner is a company and the 2nd and 3rd petitioners are Director and General Manager of the said company. It is alleged that the petitioners failed to pay the Employees Pension Fund contribution for the month of July, August and September 2011.
Hence, the Enforcement Officer/respondent herein had filed a complaint in S.T.C.No.453 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of 2012 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam, for the offence punishable under Section 14A and 14(1A) of the Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they have paid the entire amount of Rs.65,00,000/- due towards contribution of the provident fund in all the cases filed against them. He further submitted that the respondent has also received the payment and acknowledged the receipt of the amount and issued a letter to that effect on 24.07.2013. Therefore, he seeks to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.453 of 2012. 4.
There is no representation for the respondent. 5.
It is seen that the petitioners have paid the entire amount due to the Employees Provident Fund Organization and the same has been acknowledged by the respondent. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The proceedings in S.T.C.No.453 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam is quashed.
