This Criminal Original Petition is filed for transfer of investigation of a case in Crime No.175 of 2024 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Natrampalli Police Station.

According to the petitioner, the accused unlawfully gathered with weapon to grab the vacant house site owned by the petitioner. In the course of the said criminal act, they had brutally attacked him and his relatives causing grievous injury. The Police has not properly acted upon the complaint and no investigation regarding damage to the vehicle and robbing of Rs.50,000/- and gold chain been made. 3.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the incident alleged to have been taken place on 05.04.2024. On the complaint, FIR been registered on 16.04.2024 and the investigation has been effectively conducted 4.
This Court on perusal of the records finds that the persons got injured in the incident were admitted in the Government hospital and the nature of injury indicates that some of them had sustained head injury 2/4
and facial injury which is grievous in nature. However, the FIR has been registered after 11 days of the occurrence and no effective investigation be done so far. It is a fit case, which should be transferred the investigation to some other Investigating Officer and be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vaniyambadi shall entrust the investigation to some other Inspector of Police other than the person who is now investigating the matter and monitor the investigation.
