ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 and the subsequent direction from the 1st respondent on 02.02.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 17.11.2025 before the respondents 1 and 2 to issue a patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property measuring 3 cents of land with the building thereon, comprised in Survey Nos. 90 and 91/1A, Plot No. 1A, Ward No.C, Block No.8 situated at No. (115-6A) 3/102, Loyds Road, Naidupuram, Kodaikanal Town, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District-624 101. Subsequently, the 1st respondent, by proceedings dated 02.02.2026, directed the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation and submit a report. However, the 3rd respondent has neither complied with the said direction nor passed any orders till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025, will be considered within a period of eight weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to comply with the direction issued by the 3rd respondent and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
