This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 21.10.2025 and 06.04.2026 to review and revoke the order of suspension in ROC No.2299/ 2025 /A1 dated 28.06.2025 on the file of the 3rd respondent.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct respondents to consider the representation dated 21.10.2025 and 06.04.2026 to review and revoke the order of suspension in ROC No.2299/ 2025 /A1 dated 28.06.2025 on the file of the 3rd respondent."
2. The petitioner was appointed as Village Assistant on 27.11.2015 and posted at Manivilunthan (South) Village. Thereafter, he was transferred to Kamakkapalayam Village on administrative reasons. While so, he was arrested on 26.06.2025, by the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption Unit, Salem, based on a complaint given by one Kannaiyan stating that the petitioner and the VAO had demanded Rs.10,000/- for surveying the land belongs to him. Thereafter, the petitioner was released on bail by orders of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.21759 of 2025 dated 05.08.2025.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent had placed the petitioner under suspension vide order dated 28.06.2025. The petitioner
made a representation dated 21.10.2025, requesting respondents to review the order of suspension. However, there was no response. Once again he made a representation seeking to review the order of suspension on 06.04.2026. However, the respondents have not taken any steps and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2025 has not been considered to date a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 04-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order KAN
