Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to initiate contempt court proceedings as against the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the Order dated 04.01.2022 in W.P.No.28329 of 2021 under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 and punished the respondents.

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 04.01.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.28329 of 2021, thereby directing the respondents to pay compensation amount that was already agreed to the petitioners. 2.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, by an order dated 04.01.2022 in W.P.No.28329 of 2021, the second respondent conducted enquiry in order to disburse the compensation amount. However four persons were claiming the compensation amount for the very same land. Therefore, though the respondents are ready to disburse the compensation amount, there are rival

claimants in respect of receiving the compensation amount. 3.

Considering the above submission, the respondents are directed to refer the matter to civil Court in order to ascertain the ownership of the subject land and thereafter disburse the compensation. 4.

With the above direction, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
