ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Standing Counsel and the Junior Standing Counsel for the respondents.

Although detailed submissions were made on merits, the Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition without expressing any opinion on merits by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's Rectification Application dated 23.09.2023 & 28.03.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
