The petitioner namely Raviganesh, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 498-A, 354A(1)(i) r/w 34 IPC in Crime No.6 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is shown as accused in Crime No.6 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 498-A, 354A(1)(i) r/w 34 IPC. Petitioner is the husband of defacto complainant. They got married in 2019. However, due to marital discard, a false complaint has been given against the petitioner and others. It is further submitted that, co-accused had been granted bail on 04.05.2023. Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police, this petition is filed.

3. Learned counsel for the intervenor, opposes this petition, on the ground that, after marriage, petitioner along with other accused had

caused several cruelty against the defacto complainant. He had indulged in rough sexual relationship with her and took video of intimate relationship and threatened the defacto complainant. Thus, he prays for dismissal of this petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, investigation in this case is pending. Mobile phone of the petitioner is sent to Forensic Report for recovering the incriminating footage, if any. Thus, he prays for dismissal of this petition.

5. In the nature of the allegation made against the petitioner and that investigation is pending in this case and that forensic report, with regard to the alleged footage is not received yet, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 12.07.2023 gd
