ORDER
By consent of counsels for both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. The relief sought for in the writ petition is for a Mandamus seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2022 and to pass orders within a reasonable time, as fixed by this court.
3. The petitioner is working as Assistant in the Government Head Quarters Hospital, Cuddalore. On 24.03.2021, the first respondent issued order dated 24.03.2021, shifting the petitioner from the office of the second respondent to the office of the third respondent, which is functioning at Udhagamandalam, The Nilgiris District. The petitioner is a physically challenged person and he is suffering from Asthma decease and hence, he is not able to do his work in the hill station at Udhagamandalam. He made a representation dated 04.06.2022 to the first respondent, requesting to cancell the
above order and to restore him in present working place. But, no order has been passed on his representation. Hence this writ petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the authorities concerned and appropriate orders will be passed on its own merits, in accordance with law.
5. Inview of the above submission and considering the limited scope of prayer and to meet the ends of justice, without expressing any opinion on merits, the following order is passed. i) The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2022 and to pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
