O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to process the petitioner's application dated 26.08.2015 (No.14052) for payment of Rs.1000 per month under Social Security Scheme and disburse the arrears thereby from September 2015 onwards.
2. The petitioner is 66 years of age as of now and after she completed 60 years in the year 2015, she submitted an application under the Social Security Scheme being envisaged by the State Government, on 26.08.2015 along with all relevant documents. However, since the said application was not considered, she submitted two representations dated 04.02.2019 and 12.07.2019. Despite the representations as well as the earlier application dated 26.08.2015, the request of the petitioner has not been considered and therefore the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard Mr.G.Punniakoti, learned counsel for the petitioner, who reiterated the aforesaid facts. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heard Mr.Muthu Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, who would submit that the copy of the application dated 26.08.2015 as well as the subsequent representations dated 04.02.2019 and 12.07.2019, annexed along with a copy of this order can be submitted to the respondent and on receipt of the same, certainly the application would be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Having regard to the said submission by both sides and taking into consideration the factual matrix, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.
6. That the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 26.08.2015 and the subsequent representations dated 04.02.2019 and 12.07.2019 and accordingly decide the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with a copy of the said application as well as the representations to be forwarded by the petitioner.
7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
