This Court passed an order on 06.11.2019 permitting the petitioner to withdraw the writ petition as per the request made. In view of the fact that the writ petition filed by the Management was permitted to be withdrawn, the present writ miscellaneous petition is filed by the first respondent workman for withdrawal of the award amount deposited by the Management.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner in WMP.No.23878 of 2021 made a submission that pursuant to the award passed by the Labour Court, the first respondent Management deposited the amount and the writ petition filed is also withdrawn. Thus, the petitioner is entitled to withdraw the said deposited amount along with accrued interest as per the award.

3. In view of the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the deposited amount along with accrued interest by filing an appropriate application before the Principal Labour Court, Vellore and by following the procedures as contemplated.
